Suffolk's first fine dining restaurant, since 2006 Vintage Tavern has delivered Southern hospitality and seasonally Southern cuisine with a flair. The warm and cozy dining room is comfortable and relaxed, yet offers intimate booths and romantic tables by the fireplaces. Our culinary team grow their own herbs, grind their own sausage, pickle, cure, smoke and bake from scratch. Signature dishes include our Taste of Southern Goodness, Smoked Baby Back Ribs, Grilled Bison Ribeye, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Herb-Onion Spoonbread, Brunswick Stew with Buttermilk Biscuit and Banana Puddin'.

Local and regionally sourced produce and seafood are the core of our seasonal Southern cuisine. The menu is constantly changing to reflect nature's bounty and often offers hour old vegetables, soft shells straight from the Nansemond River and farm market driven produce.

Hours of Operation: Vintage Tavern is open on Tuesday - Saturday beginning at 5:00 PM, and Sundays beginnning at 4:30 PM. Vintage Tavern will be closed all Mondays, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas.

Gift cards may be purchased in the restaurant Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 am to closing, or you may charge a gift card to your credit card over the phone, and we will mail you or the recipient the card via mail. Gift cards do not expire and are re-usable until they reach a zero balance. You may also add additional funds to a gift card at any time.
